CONCEPT OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “INTERNATIONALISATION AND IMPACT OF ERASMUS+ CBHE PROJECTS IN RUSSIA”

Aim of the Conference:

  1. to present to a wide audience results, outputs, outcomes and impacts of the Erasmus+ CBHE projects;
  2. to enhance dissemination of project deliverables;
  3. to map the CBHE project themes for the new Programme after 2021.

The Conference is expected to play a role in the further enhancement of internationalization across the RF academic community and within the EHEA. This importance of this role cannot be overestimated in the context of the termination of Erasmus+ in its current form and of the start of a new Programme that will build on the achievements, accomplishments and strengths of K 2 and avoid the weaknesses and minor drawbacks observed in the previous implementation period.

Hence, the Conference will be a synergy of evaluation, reflection, and of a forward-looking mapping exercise.

Expected outcomes:

  • Enhanced engagement of stakeholders and policy-makers;
  • Enhanced networking of universities, both domestic and EU;
  • Enhanced collective awareness of the needs to advance HE in Russia and to consolidate the EAHE based on the Bologna principles and tools.

The Conference will focus around the following thematic areas:

  • Digital transformation (IT products and platform learning tools, new tools to enhance university-enterprise cooperation)
  • Sustainable development (inputs to greening the economy and HE curricula)
  • Methodological innovations and enhancement of sector-specific skills (enhanced interaction with the world of work)
  • Internationalisation and Bologna Process

In each thematic area the crosscutting perspective will address the institutional adaptivity and resilience issues that have been growing in importance in the context of COVID-19 that has brought to the fore a number of insecurities and gaps. These insecurities and gaps have been effectively dealt with in each project, and have also pointed to areas requiring close attention in the future projects and in the overall operation of the universities.
