The Programme comprised:

  • General information about the Erasmus+ Programme: key strands and opportunities for participation for Russian universities.
  • Details of the new  Capacity Building Call and methodological recommendations for the preparation of applications.
  • Jean Monnet Programme, general information, goals and objectives, themes, calculation of the budget.
  • International credit mobility and Joint master programmes: terms of participation, procedures and documentation.

Also individual consultations were provided to the participants.Overall over 100 people from regional universities took part in the two above information sessions in Omsk and Penza.​

Information session and  methodological workshop for the Capacity Building projects


The information session and the methodological workshop was attended by over 60 people – teachers and staff from the host university and other universities from the N.Novgorad Region.  The Programme comprised:

  1. A Round Table at which general information about the Capacity Building in the field of HE projects was presented  with a focus on priorities for Russia, details of participation  for Russian universities and organizations, results of the 2018 Call and information about the new Call. The presentations were followed by discussions.
  2. A training session that comprised assignments relating to the formulation the project ideas, overall and specific objectives and expected impact of the projects; as well as to the needs analysis and identification of problems the  individual projects will address.

The work was organized in small groups, each small group presented  its results to all participants who discussed it.

Also individual consultations were provided to the participants.

Information and consultation workshop for the Jean Monnet Programme


The participants were presented with  detailed information about the Jean Monnet Programme: overall and specific objectives, types of projects and size of grants, methods of calculating the budget, overall recommendations about the selection of project  themes and preparation of applications.

Individual consultations were also provided.

The overall number of participants  amounted to over 50 people -  from the host university and from other regional universities
